About Klattermusen
Their founder, Peter Askulv, chose the word Klättermusen from a children’s book, meaning ‘climbing mouse’. His reasoning behind it was that no one should ever buy the products because of a cool name, so he chose the most uncool brand name he could find.

When Klattermusen first heard about Sigrid Ekran, it was through rumours about a young promising sled dog musher, learning the trade in the Alaskan outback. She was living off what nature could give, together with her full team of dogs, and without electricity or running water in a wooden cabin.
