Please read this information carefully to ensure your delivery expectations are met.
All our products show a dispatch timescale and are either marked as 'In Stock' or have an estimated shipping timescale assigned. Where an item is not marked as in stock please review the 'Dispatch message...' and then add the delivery method timescale on to that. For example: An 'In Stock' item can be ordered up to 1pm each day for delivery the following day (see details below). An item marked as 'Usually Dispatched 2 - 3 Working Days' is likely to ship within that timescale from us to you and if you have chosen our standard delivery service can then take a further 2 - 4 working days on top of that to arrive with you.
Please note that during extremely busy times such as sale periods or bank holidays including and importantly Christmas & New Year dispatch timescales may vary. It is customary for our suppliers to close between Christmas and New Year therefore please bear this in mind if you are ordering any items that do not specifically state 'In Stock'.
Please also note that all dispatch timescales are based on 'Working Days' being Monday - Friday between 8am and 5pm.
UK Standard delivery orders are sent using Royal Mail’s second class service. This is not a tracked service however if the value of your purchase exceeds £50.00 in total we will upgrade delivery to a ‘Recorded’ service with Royal Mail which will require a signature on arrival. This is not a faster service, we simply send on this service for the avoidance of higher value item losses that can be incurred through untracked postal services.
Free Standard Delivery is available within the UK if you purchase Ordnance Survey Maps. Orders of £4.00 and under irrespective of brand/product do not qualify for free delivery and will be charged a minumum of £3.95.
UK First Class delivery orders are sent using Royal Mail’s first class SIGNED FOR service which will require a signature on arrival. This is not a faster service, we simply send on this service for the avoidance of higher value item losses that can be incurred through untracked postal services.
These services are available for purchases of 'In Stock' items made by 1pm each day between Monday to Friday.
UK Next Day delivery orders are sent using either Royal Mail’s next day signed for service where goods are guaranteed to arrive by 1pm at a cost of £10.95 or via FedEx which is a Monday to Friday delivery with arrival up to 6pm. Delivery with FedEx costs £6.95. Both options are available at checkout and are relevant for UK bound addresses only.
Oversized items such as 3D Relief Maps, some globes, some tents etc cannot be sent with Royal Mail and if goods are oversized we will ship goods via Federal Express irrespective of the delivery method chosen.
Both Federal Express and Royal Mail expedited services will require a signature on arrival and if the recipient is not available at the delivery address we cannot be held responsible for non-delivery within the guaranteed timescale.
Please note that only goods that are marked as ‘In Stock’ can be sent on a next day service. You can see stock statuses within each product page beside the add to basket button. If goods state 'Usually Dispatched 2 - 3 Working Days' this is because we are waiting for goods to arrive from our supplier or goods are currently being checked back into stock or they are being shipped from an alternative warehouse and are not available for immediate shipping. If you choose this service and goods are not in stock we will assume that you have chosen this tracked and fast delivery method because you wish to receive your purchase as fast as possible when available to send. Orders placed over the weekend or public holidays will not be processed until the following working day which will add one more day to delivery times.
Please note that some areas are not guaranteed for next day services i.e. Highlands & Islands of Scotland, non-mainland UK locations and delivery times for these areas can extend by one to two days.
Once parcels have been dispatched we are unable to change the delivery address and cannot be held responsible for any errors in the address details you enter when placing your order with us online. We monitor email every day and try to answer all inquiries within 24 hours so if you notice a discrepancy on your delivery address it is best to contact us by phone immediately on 01670 716376 as we may have shipped goods to you already if we have not yet reached your email.

Overseas delivery: £15 or £20 within the EU & £25 or £30 for RoW.
For orders exceeding £50 in value we strongly recommend your choose the tracked delivery option available to you as these orders will be shipped via Royal Mail’s International Signed for service. For the EU the price for Royal Mail’s Signed for service is £20 and for the Rest of the World £30.00. We can trace your parcel until it reaches the destination sorting office, where it will be passed on to local mail carriers and will be tracked via their internal tracking service.
Standard delivery to the EU will cost £15 and for RoW £25. The service used in these instances are Standard Airmail and these services are suitable for lower value orders (less than GBP £50). This service is not signed for.
Please note we cannot send items that are over 2KG in weight and exceed maximum country dimensions (different by country) via standard Royal Mail International services and would urge you to contact us for a reasonable quotation to send goods exceeding these criteria to you at firstname.lastname@example.org
Please note we are unable to claim the loss of a UK bound parcel with Royal Mail until 15 working days have passed and for EU and RoW until 28 working days have passed.
Items sent via standard mail services including Royal Mail 1st and 2nd Class are non-traceable. Goods sent via Royal Mail Signed For services and Federal Express are traceable. For peace of mind we recommend you choose traceable methods of delivery whereever possible and in particular if the goods you are ordering are of high value.
Our customers are protected against the unlikely event that goods are lost in transit and if so, items not received must be reported to us within two weeks (14 days) of date of despatch which is noted on the despatch notification email we send to you. We must be informed of the non-arrival of goods within this timescale in order for us to make the appropriate inquiries with the relevant delivery service. Please advise email@example.com. We cannot be responsible for goods that do not arrive after this period has elapsed if we have not been notified any any delivery issue.
If goods are returned to us as a result of non-collection/re-delivery arrangement after a calling card has been left (usually applicable to goods too large to fit through a letterbox or packages that require a signature) we will contact you to advise and if goods need to be resent we will request payment to resend irrespective of whether our freepost service was originally chosen. Please see cost of shipping above.
Items sent via any of our carriers should arrive in pristine condition. If they do not and the contents of your package are damaged in anyway we must be advised of this in writing within 24 hours of receiept of goods. We may require visual evidence such as a photograph of the damage and damaged packaging in order to rectify this unfortunate and unlikely situation for you. If we do not receive notification of the fact that goods have been received damaged within 24 hours we will be unable to action any remedy. Please note that when you receive goods that require a signature, if damage has occurred please notify the carrier immediately in support of your claim with ourselves.
