The Keb Jacket by Fjallraven is a well-ventilated outdoor jacket for long mountain treks in varying terrain, when freedom of movement is just as important as durability, protection from sharp stones, etc. Combines wind and water resistant G-1000 Eco made from recycled polyester and organic cotton in the hood, shoulders, front panel and rear extension with stretch across the back and in the sleeves and pockets. Carefully thought-out details offer a good fit, like extra fabric under the sleeves for enhanced mobility and seams that have been moved forward so as not to rub under a backpack's hip belt. The advanced storm hood can be adjusted to sit perfectly around the head. The visor has brass wire sewn into it so it can be folded back, depending on whether you want maximum protection or more peripheral visibility. Ventilation openings under the sleeves with two-way zippers release excess heat. Two vertical breast pockets with an inner mesh pocket for a mobile telephone, for example. One pocket potentially for GPS on the left sleeve. A two-way zipper is hidden behind a protective flap with buttons at the top and bottom. Drawstring at the hem and velcro sleeve cuffs.

Three Season Jacket

I own two of the Keb Jackets in different colours, and am about to buy a third one. The cut and style is great, and can be worn as a leisure jacket. I have washed them as instructed, andafter a quick treatment with the Greenland Wax, they are as good as new and water repellant again. In the warmer climate, I simply wear a simple base layer underneath with all the vents opened - just the job. The different materials make its breath wonderfully. In colder climes, simply layer up and close all the zips. Wash it as often as you want, and it delivers every time.. Of, course, it will not withstand an all-day deluge; Just throw your base poncho over it. You will be hard pressed to find another jacket to wear on the hills as practical as this one.

Fjallraven Keb Jacket

Well designed and well constructed jacket for almost every occasion. I've used this for one year in all conditions on the hill and on low level, long distance walks. The design provides for great movement and the chest pockets and venting zips work better than expected. Top kit

Beautiful Jacket

What more can I add to the reviews already. Another amazing piece of kit from Fjallraven. The adjustable hood is also really good, giving great protection around the back of the neck when down and folded (I prefer a hat to a hood most times) and truly adjustable when up, forming to the head nicely but also expandable. Really keeps the wind out. It does need waxing to make sure it's good and water resistant, but that's the beauty of these jackets. Truly tough jacket, withstanding all manner of scrub and bush! Also, as my first experience with ordering from above and beyond, I 'd like to take the opportunity to thank them for their first rate customer service as well.

Keb on the hill

Having spent hundreds of pounds on finding the ultimate all round mountain jacket I think I have finally found it! It alone is not going to keep you dry but if you are after something to keep the wind off you, a light shower and like your things to dry out quickly this is the jacket for you. Super strong, Fjallraven quality and very dynamic!

Said it all in the two reviews from Matthew and Jeff. Best jacket I've ever owned.

Like the guy below me said

What a jacket. Unreal toughness and can withstand a proper battering. I've had mine for a month or so now and its already been through plenty of rain. Dries really quickly and if you wax it barely even gets wet. Breathes well when you've got it on and like the guy below me says it blocks the wind and is just a fantastic bit of gear. fjallraven are making some amazing things.
