Mora

Whatever your adventurous activity, a good fixed blade knife can be one of the most useful tools imaginable. Morakniv produce the most affordable, effective and quality knives available today. Made in Sweden out of some of the best steel in the world, Mora Knives are no-nonsense tools that have taken the world of bushcraft and survival by storm.

A Mora Knife is made in Mora, Sweden. Morakniv as a modern company was formed in 2005 after a merger between Frosts Knivfabrik and KJ Eriksson, but the craftsmanship and designs are far older, having been perfected by knifemakers in the town of Mora for over a century. They have a Royal Purveyor of Sweden hallmark, a sign that they have supplied goods to the royal family of the King of Sweden.

Mora knives are instantly useable, coming sharp from the factory and with no-frills about them. The companion series is insanely popular, a fixed blade knife with a rubber handle and plastic sheath. The Mora Companion has a 3.9 inch blade with a partial tang which is buried in the tough handle. Whether you choose the carbon or stainless version, the knife is tough and extremely sharp.

Mora use Sandvik steel, which contains far less carbides and other impurities compared to competing steels. This makes your Mora knife easier to sharpen, hold an edge for longer and slice, baton and stab your way through tasks.
