The Memory Map Adventurer S7000 GPS GB Edition comes pre-loaded with standard Snooper European SatNav and Memory-Map software. The S7000 is ideal for those who do not presently own Memory-Map V5 software as it comes with full Ordnance Survey GB coverage at 1:50,000 scale ready to use straight out the box.
What's Good?
The Adventurer S7000 includes full PC software featuring the maps or charts of your choice, enabling you to print maps or charts, plan journeys and transfer routes, tracks and waypoints to and from your PC.
You can also add further mapping from the entire Memory-Map collection, including topographical, historical and marine charts, European mapping and maps from further afield.

OS 1:50,000 scale - Available as the Standard verisons with the Landranger scale mapping or as the Premium versions with the mapping plus aerial photography the GB coverage is available in 6 regions or as full GB & half country titles. A popular introductory title is the inexpensive GB National Parks 1:50,000 scale with full coverage of all 16 National Parks.
OS 1:25,000 scale - Available for each of the National Parks & the National Trails of Great Britain. Should you require an area at this scale which is outside of the National Parks or Trails then you can purchase a Digital Map Shop Top-up disc which allows you to directly download the mapping you require - up to the cost of the item purchased directly from Memory-Map's servers.
Historical Series - Compare the current mapping with Ordnance Survey's historic maps. Avialable for Scotland in 1800s & England & Wales in 1800's, 1900's, 1920's & 1940's.
A-Z - 10 titles covering Britain's major cities with the famous Geographer's A-Z maps
France IGN - 1:25,000 scale mapping available as Premium titles with Aerial photography included or as smaller regions featuring the mapping only. 1:100,000 & 1:250,000 scale mapping for France is also available.

In the past Memory-Map was purchased by those who wanted to have access to digital versions of the Ordnance Survey range to that they could print & plan their walking routes & transfer their routes to their GPS. There was a limitation in that the mapping itself could not be exported to the user's GPS unit. More recently Memory-Map have taken on the likes of Garmin to produce their own GPS unit - the Adventurer 2800. This very competitively priced full colour touchscreen unit allows the maps themselves to be transferred from your collection to the unit to have actual OS mapping in the field.
