So what's it all about?

The Adventurer 3500 is Memory Maps latest Handheld GPS unit to reach the outdoor market. It's recently been voted "The Best Value Large Screen GPS Unit" but this doesn't mean they've cut corners.

The Memory Map Adventurer 3500 comes with no additional Memory Map software which is ideal if you already have a stock pile of Memory Maps and don't need the mapping but it still has everything you need to get started. What you get as standard is a bike mount, silicone case and both car and mains charger, you don't however get Free subscription to Memory Maps recently launched TrailZilla as you do with the Adventurer 3500 plus Memory Map GB 1:50,000 Bundle.

What's Good?

The Memory Map Adventurer 3500 is extremely lightweight and compact and is tested to IPx7 which makes it 100% waterproof even though it has a removable battery which makes it great for those winter adventures wherever you happen to be in the UK.

The Adventure 3500 operates in all light conditions and its large bright screen allows you to view full colour detailed maps and charts with ease. The touchscreen can be used with both the finger and with a stylus for those days when gloves are needed.

It has DigitalGPS^TM windows built into it which allows you to set up the screen to display the GPS data the way you want - even sophisticated data such as XTE or VMG can be viewed.

A 50 Channel high sensitivity GPS receiver ensures the Adventurer 3500 locks on to satellites fast when it is switched on. Even in built up areas or deep ravines the signal still remains strong.

It's also compatible with any Memory Map software.

With full PC software included, The Memory Map Adventurer 3500 features OS mapping. enabling you to print maps, plan routes and transfer routes, tracks and waypoints to and from your PC. You can also add further mapping from the entire Memory-Map collection, including historical mapping, aviation and marine charts, European mapping and maps from further afield.
