What's the Garmin GPSMAP 62st all about?
The Garmin GPSMAP 62st rugged, rubberised housing makes it fully waterproof and combined with large buttons means it can be used easily with gloves on, which tends to be one of the negatives of the touch screen units and ideal if you're working in a cold climate.
Its 2.6 inch colour screen enables you to read in any amount of sunlight and its on screen route creation is very easy to use.
The GPSMAP 62st also have the capability to upload photo's through its photo navigation function, allowing you to upload and download photos from Garmin connect. Garmin Connect is totally free and is Garmin's very own data sharing community allowing you to share your outdoor experience with 1000's of other like minded people.
