St Oswald's Way is a beautiful long-distance walking route, exploring some of the finest landscapes of Northumberland. To allow people who don't want to walk the whole route to experience parts of St Oswald's Way Alnwick District Council have published these collections of short walks starting from some of the attractive villages that are passed.
This colleciton of circular walks is based on the southern, inland part of St Oswald's Way & the walks range from 3 to 8 miles in length. Most of them are little more than a gentle stroll & they will give you plenty of time to combine your walk with a visit to a local pub or cafe. You'll see some of the beautiful landscapes & historic sites that help make Northumberland special.
Each of the walks is produced in it's own folded leaflet. Thet are waterproof and rip-proof and include a map, route instructions & information about the places & features that are found on the walk. They also include useful details that will help you plan these great days out on parts of one of the finest walks in the country.
